The Law Office of W.T. Johnson doesn’t just fight injustice in the courtroom, but also by supporting those who are in need in our community. Recently, we began a corporate sponsor partnership with the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, which tries to create lasting community change in Dallas.
We will be donating money each month for the next year to help United Way support those in need in the Dallas community. The United Way of Metropolitan Dallas has provided community services in Dallas, Collin, Rockwall and southern Denton counties since 1924.
The United Way has three major goals for its United 2020 campaign. First, it prepares children to graduate and do well in future education. It hopes to help 60 percent of high schoolers to succeed in post high school education.
It also assists families in leaving poverty permanently. By 2020, it wants to move 250,000 families out of poverty and help them become self-sufficient. Lastly, it wants to instruct those in the community how to live healthy, responsible lives.
“The United Way of Metropolitan Dallas is one of the leaders in our area for improving the lives of Dallas citizens,” W.T. Johnson attorney David Crowe said. “By helping children graduate high school and finding meaningful post-secondary education, the United Way will create lasting change for our area. We believe in what they are doing and want to do what we can to help them in their mission.”

Our lawyers are passionate not only about the personal injury cases we take on, but also about the local Dallas community. To show our continued support to the community, we have now begun a corporate sponsor partnership of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.
This organization maintains public botanical gardens while instructing others about horticulture. It takes care of 14 exquisite gardens in the Dallas area, hosts public and private events and provides opportunities for horticultural instruction and research.
The W.T. Johnson attorneys will donate funds to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden each month for the next year to assist the group in its goal to maintain one of the most extraordinary display gardens in America.
“The Dallas Arboretum is one of our area’s greatest treasures,” W.T. Johnson attorney David Crowe said. “We’re making this donation to help ensure that kids for generations to come can visit this garden and take advantage of its beauty and educational opportunities.”

We at the Law Office of W.T. Johnson care about the Dallas community, but we don’t just say we do, we show we care. We recently gave a donation to Operation Kindness, which is the oldest and biggest no-kill animal shelter in north Texas.
We will give money to Operation Kindness each month for the next year to assist the shelter in its goal of caring for homeless pets in a no-kill environment until each one has found a new home and family.
Since it started in 1976, the shelter has saved over 70,000 animals. It cares for an average of 200-250 animals each day and another 60-80 animals are taken care of by Operation Kindness in foster homes. Through the organization, more than 3,000 dogs and cats are served.
“There are a lot of homeless dogs and cats in north Texas,” W.T. Johnson attorney David Crowe said. “And without organizations like Operation Kindness, those animals might never find loving homes. We hope this donation will make a difference for pets in our area.”
